Before undergoing your endoscopic brow lift, you’ll meet with one of our cosmetic surgeons for a complete medical history review and physical exam. Once we determine if you’re healthy enough for the procedure, we’ll create a plan that is specifically designed for you.

What is an endoscopic brow lift?

Endoscopic brow lifts are minimally invasive. Using a small fiber optic camera known as an endoscope, we are able to perform your brow lift procedure while viewing the progress on a television screen. This allows us to make the smallest incisions, speeding up your recovery time and reducing the risk of scarring.

What is the endoscopic brow lift procedure?

During the endoscopic brow lift procedure, you’ll be unconscious under general anesthesia. We make four small incisions within your forehead and temple and two small incisions inside your mouth. Using the endoscope and a laser, we elevate and resuspend your forehead using materials that will eventually be absorbed and disappear completely.

What is the recovery time?

Since endoscopic brow lifts require such small incisions, the recovery period is brief. Any residual pain from the surgery can be easily managed with prescription pain medication.

You may feel a tight sensation on your brow, which makes sense – the area has been restored and smoothed, surgically. You may have some swelling and bruising around the upper eyelids, or upper nose, which typically subsides in about 10 days. Most patients are back to work or other regular activities, including social events, within one to two weeks.
