At Austin Cosmetic Surgery, making our patients feel happy with their results is what we strive for! As we age, our bodies begin to lose the firm, taut look of youth. The skin and other tissues of the breast may start to stretch and sag – and that’s where we can work wonders.
Where are the incisions in a breast lift?
When patients decide to undergo a breast lift, their primary concern is the potential for undesirable scarring. At Austin Cosmetic Surgery, our goal is to provide patients with the best results while also concealing scars to be virtually unnoticeable. Our experienced breast surgeon, Dr. Michelle Cabret, will choose one of the following types of incisions for your breast lift surgery:
- Two rings, varying in size, around the areola
- A keyhole shape that runs around the areola and down to the breast crease
- An anchor shape that begins in the breast crease and extends up and around the areola
